12. BUT IN 2008
Some residents of Wenchuan and other places has been reported
identity card theft to open bank accounts in Minsheng Bank. Even
some of the victims of the earthquake had their ID cards used to set
up online banking business in the Bank.
It was reported that Minsheng Bank has cooperated with an
company named “HengYiZhongTian” to share nearly 10 thousand
illegal copies of stolen ID cards in China.

13. IN DEC. 2009, AFTER INVESTIGATION
CMBC’s took the initiative to cancel the relevant cards and customer
information and reported through the News Center in its Brand
Management department that it was cheated by its cooperator in collecting
customer bank account requirements in 9 universities in Northern China
and most fake ID cards were from Canton Area.
Only 2 ID Card information was proved to be real among 10739 others.
The HengYiZhongTian fired the manager in charge of the project.
