Our English language courses are skills-based so you can really focus on what you need most to increase your language proficiency. ELICOS classes deliver new and relevant topics each week that focus on valuable and practical communication skills for a range of situations.

Students used the Goosechase app,
which is an interactive game that
requires competitors to complete
challenges and activities in teams.
Students were given ‘missions to
complete’ and post to the app for the
teacher to award them points.
Students loved the app and had lots of
fun.

Our ELICOS classes visited the Immigration
Museum in CPD. The Immigration museum
is a place where people can explore the
histories, stories and contemporary issues
of Victoria’s diverse communities.

VISIT
Our students from English
Language course went on an
excursion to Pure Pie, located
in the Docklands near
Melbourne CBD. Students
had a lovely afternoon
ordering delicious pies,
putting their English skills to
practice.

DAY
Our ELICOS students
celebrated World Food Day
by bringing in a range of
foods from different
countries to share. Our
students had fun guessing
where the dishes originated
from and enjoyed tasting
new foods.

STAR
Our ELICOS students went on an
excursion to the Melbourne Star in
Docklands. They spent the
afternoon enjoying the beautiful
weather and views of the city.

Our students got the chance to
contribute to a workshop which
aims to encourage children to be
active participants in their own
emergency preparedness.

The students got to play
against each other in friendly
competition to see who could
get the most strikes. The
students really enjoyed the
trip out of the classroom. It
helps them to apply the
English language to real life
situations, improving their
existing skills.

SKYDECK
EXCURSION
Students visited the Eureka
Skydeck on an excursion to
see views across the city of
Melbourne. The students got
to take the fastest lift in the
Southern Hemisphere to the
top of the tower, to see a 360
degree view from
Melbourne’s highest point.

SKATING
Ozford’s ELICOS excursions are
always a lot of fun. Our general
English/ English for academic
purpose students went to the ice
rink to go ice skating. They had a
lot of falls but even more fun.
