only two news websites that published his picture within forty eight hours that I
could find.

Huffington Post. For the most part, news outlets chose to focus on protests rather than Michael Brown as a person or the shooting.

Response and Resistance
While the media’s pictures were deeply moving, Chronicle Ferguson accepted
pictures from anyone creating a well rounded view as well as a timeline of
Ferguson protests. Not all pictures focused on violence, they show a community as
it is.
