27. Installation
• All modules were designed with ease-of-installation in
mind
• All lighting circuits should be wired to the fuse box
• Switches (potential free) are connected using either UTP,
VVT, SVV or similar cable
• Note that a common connection is required: an 8
wire cable can connect to 7 switches
• Can be of any brand (no internal electronics)
• Sensors are connected using a 4 wire low-voltage cable
(UTP): 2 wires for power, 2 for data
• Multiple electrical cabinets can be linked with a UTP
cable to connect the OpenMotics bus (max. 1200m)
