The The Sahara is dominated by
two climatic regimes: a dry
subtropical climate in the north
and a dry tropical climate in the
south
It has a short rainy season
The sky is cloudless & clear.
Days are hot & the temperature
may soar as high as 50 degrees
The night may be freezing cold
with temperatures nearing zero
degrees.

The people here are mainly tribes such as the
Bedouins and tauregs who rear livestock such as
goat, sheep, camels and horsers.
These animals provide them with milk, hides
from wich they make leather for belts, slippers
wáter bottles ; hair is used for mats, carpets,
clothes & blankets
They grow crops like rice, wheat, barley & beans
They wear heavy robes as protection against
dust storms & hot winds
