UPDATED SCRIPT

1. UPDATE: I had tochange myscript as I had an actor change so I had to change the theme of an
adultvoice to a childvoice writingalettertohismotherinsteadof a man to hiswife.Thisthen
changedthe story line soIhad to update my scriptand therefore my plotline.Sothisismyscript 2.
FADE IN:
INT. KITCHEN
A young boy in his kitchen writing a note places it into an envelope
and seals it up.
EXT. OUTSIDE ON A ROAD
Envelope is placed into a post box.
EXT. TRAIN STATION
James walks up the stairs of the train station bridge to get to the
platform. He is running/walking along the bridge then back down the
stairs at the other side to walk down to the platform.
James:
Dear Mum, I don’t want to do
this but it has all gone
wrong. I have to leave. I
don’t want to hurt you or see
you upset which is why I have
to write this letter. They
have found me again and they
are after me. I don’t want to
put you in danger anymore.
James:
I have to leave. I have to
leave this town and this
life. I’m leaving and I’m
going far away. I have a job
lined up where I can earn
money for myself.

2. Jonathan:
Please don’t try to find me.
You’ll only make it easier
for them and they’re not
going to stop. I have changed
my name and got a new life. I
might be back one day and
when I am we can start again.
EXT. TRAIN PLATFORM
The train approaches the station and the doors open. James gets onto
the train and the train leaves the station.
Shots flick between the train platform and the train leaving.
FADE OUT:
James:
I’m sorry that I must do
this. I know it’s going
to upset you and I don’t
want to make you sad. I
will be back one day.
[6 second pause]
I never wanted any of
this but I’m sorry it’s
come to this.
Please tell Sophie and
Lewis.
I love you all. See you
soon. (Repeated 4 times)
