1. Task 2 - Case Study
Talk Talks marketing campaign was promoted highly by programmes such as the X Factor as
at the beginning and end of every break they would have advert letting viewers know they
were proud sponsors of the X Factor. On each advert they had a video of someone dancing
and singing along to a One direction. After each video it always said to send your video
singing to be in with a chance of it being
played on TV.
As people were sending in videos to Talk
Talk people would be viewing the
website and think whilst they are there
might have a look as there could good
deals and offers on packages, also they
were using banners and inviting you to
like the pages on Facebook and twitter and when you do you get continuous links and
offers posted on your new feeds and you might see one you like and look. He reason for
doing this is to be everywhere and
everywhere you can to make sure you’re
the company someone chooses and if
your constantly on different sorts of
media then you’ll be well remembered
and if people speak about you to others
then you would get more interest as
word of mouth is the most common way
to spread news and people do always
tend to believe what they hear.
