came up with a slogan “THIS IS FUNK” i used
this idea because I classify it as a very
declarative statement. As it does not assume
that the magazine could be funk but
rather, is funk!
I placed my slogan at the top edge of my magazine, I did this on purpose, as I wanted it
too look more like a label rather than a cover line.
If you look closely, the word funk has been stoked quite a bit, again, I did this on purpose
as I wanted the word “funk” to stand out, rather than blending in with the rest of the
statement.
