brief explanation of hajj with perspective of Quran and Sunnah

2. The Messenger of Allah ( ‫ﷺ‬) said, "(The superstructure of) Islam is
based on five (pillars), testifying the fact that La ilaha illallah wa
anna Muhammad-ar-Rasul-ullah [there is no true god except Allah,
and Muhammad (( ‫ﷺ‬)) is the Messenger of Allah], establishing As-
Salah (the prayers), paying Zakat (poor due), the pilgrimage to the
House [of Allah (Ka'bah)], and the Saum (fasting) during the month
of Ramadan.

4. Steps during hajjMiqat
Makah
Perform the Welcome Tawaf (Tawaf al Qudum).
Perform Sa'y (passing seven times between the
hillocks of Safa and Marwah).
Mina
In Mina, perform five prayers starting with the
noon (dhur) prayer and ending with dawn
(fajr) on the day of Arafat.
Arafat
When you reach Arafat, devote as much of your time as possible to prayer.
From the afternoon on wards, perform Wuquf at Arafah.
Go outside your tent, and face towards the Qibla (Holy City of Makah) and
pray to Allah with all your heart
Muzdalifah
Your stay in Muzdalifah will be under the open sky.
Here you will offer the evening prayer (Maghreb) and stay over night.
Collect the pebbles you will need for the "stoning" ceremony (ramy).
You may have already collected some pebbles in Mina.
