5. The Story of “Cullos Danger” and the termination of
Michael!
This is not your normal termination lawsuit, and there are a few characters.
Before we meet Cullos, our main character, we have to meet Michael—
our mild-mannered boss and former-employee-to-be.
6. Meet Michael . . .
Although Michael is far from the “World’s Best Boss,” he is remarkably average
and sufficiently competent to avoid getting fired.
7. The humble beginnings of Cullos Danger!
However, it’s recently been brought to Management’s attention that Michael
may have an alter-ego . . .
10. . . . and not what the company is looking for in a
supervisor
11. Cullos insults employees, the company, and just about
everyone else through his Twitter feed. Cullos also admits
to faking sick days, which conveniently occur when
Michael also takes his sick days.
12. The company is convinced that Michael is Cullos and
decides to terminate Michael based on Cullos’s online
activities. Now the company must determine what
evidence it has to support its decision, because Michael is
known to be very litigious and will bring suit immediately.

Hello everyone and welcome to the first of four webcasts this year co-presented by ACEDS and EDRM, The Social Media Quick Peek: Early Data Assessment. I’m Robert Hilson and I’m joined today by George Socha and Tom Gelbmann from EDRM, as well as a number of excellent panelists who will introduce themselves momentarily. I do, first, have a couple of brief announcements.
As you may know, ACEDS and EDRM are now affinity partners. This means we will be collaborating on a couple of fronts to bring you valuable educational content, both in presentations like these and at the 2015 ACEDS Conference, where EDRM will be hosting a panel and a breakout workshop… We’ll be announcing the details of those sessions shortly. Also, if you are a member of ACEDS or EDRM, you can join the other organization at a discounted rate. And if you are not a member of either, you can join both for $300, which is about 25% off the retail retail. If you’re interested, I encourage you to reach out to me or Tom at tom@EDRM.net.
Several presenters and organization you will hear from today will participate at the ACEDS Conference, which will be held from September 28 through the 30 at Gaylord National Resort in National Harbor, MD. The judges you see here will be presenting, along with may other experts. You can visit e-discoveryconference.com and learn more about faculty and program, and to register at early bird rates.
Alright, George, I will now turn it over to you and Tom to get us started.
