How The Barclays Premier League
Works
In the Barclays Premier League ,there are twenty teams. Each team plays every other team in the
League twice in each season. One match is played at their home stadium and the second in the
other team’s stadium. If a team wins, then they get 3 points. However, if the teams draw, they
each get 1 point while the team that loses gets no points. This scoring system is fixed no matter
how much the goal difference is.
To check your team’s status, you can look at the score table. The team with most points on the
score table is listed first. The team with the most points at the end of the season is declared the
winner. However, in the unlikely chance that two or more teams have the same number of points,
then the goal difference is used to decide the winner. In this case, the teams with the highest goal
difference win.
Also, the three teams with the least points are relegated to the lower league the following season
and they are replaced by the top three teams from the lower league. However, the relegated
teams have a chance to rejoin the Barclay’s Premier League, if they are among the top three
teams on the lower league at the end of the following season.
For the Barclays Premier League and the other European leagues, there are three knockout
championships during the season. These are the F.A Cup, the Champions League Cup and the
UEFA Euro cup. (UEFA Euro Cup is only held every four years held every 4 years.)
Quick Fact Did you know that the Barclays Premier League and Liga BBVA are the most well known Leagues in the world

Other Championships
I know that for the F.A Cup, Champions League
Cup and UFEA Euro cup the clubs that get to
play in it the are set and it is the same leagues
that are in it. The UEFA Euro Cup is the only
one of these three championships that happen
every four years another Championships that
happen every four years is the FIFA World Cup.
For this competition specifically for national
teams and teams have to qualify but the the but
the Country that is chosen for the competition to
happen in there nation is automatically qualified.
How Nations Qualify for The FIFA World
CupsEvery continent has different ways of qualifying for the world cup
These are the different ways that Nations have to do to qualify into the World Cup
Asia
After three rounds of matches, the amount is reduced from 43 to 10 teams, which are drawn into two groups for the fourth round. The
two group winners and the two runners-up qualify automatically for the World Cup. The third-placed teams from each groups play two
times each in a home-and-away games and the winner qualifies.
Africa
The African zone uses three rounds to eliminate 38 of its 58 member nations and end up with four groups of five teams in the fourth
stage. Each group winner goes to the World Cup to give Africa a total of four representatives.
North, Central America and Caribbean
Each notion that wants to qualify must with four rounds of qualifying to reduce down to 35 teams to three or four slots. With several
sets of small group stages and home-and-away knockout matches, it heavily favors the region’s powerhouses like the United States and
Mexico. Qualifying 3 culminates with a single six-team, home-and-away group from which the top three teams go to the World Cup. The
fourth-placed team can still qualify, but it faces a home-and-away tie with the fifth-placed side from the South American region.
Europe
The European zone alone includes 53 teams competing for a 12 slots. It is also separated into two rounds. The first contains of 8 teams
, play 2 games 1home-and-1, away groups of 6 teams as well as 1 round , home-and-away group of 5 teams. Each of the eight group
winners qualifies automatically for the World Cup.
Oceania
The Oceania region uses the tournament at the South Pacific Games to determine which countries will compete for its single slot in the
World Cup. The top three finishers at the South Pacific Games, along with one pre-seeded side, form a four-team group in the second
stage of qualifying. The winner of that group will earn a two-game playoff against the fifth finisher in the Asian Zone for a place in the
World Cup.
South America
The South American continent at the World Cup is determined by a single 10-team league, in which each side plays every one else
twice. The top four qualify automatically go to the world cup and the fifth-placed nation faces a playoff against the fourth finisher from the
North, Central America and Caribbean Zone.
