26. ZeroPlastic Competitions/Pledge in Schools
It was truly inspiring to see 10 school teams
compete, showcasing their ability to
transform everyday #waste produced by the
#hospitality industry into beautiful art pieces.
27. ZeroPlastic Youth Change Makers Boot Camps
The Green Skills Program, which received resource contribution from ZeroPlastic
National Movement, will be held today at Agriculture Department of Ruhuna
University.
This was organized by Sarvodaya-Fusion, sponsored by HSBC Bank.

ZeroPlastic University of Rajarata club educates preschoolers in Mihinthale about
the importance of reducing plastic waste and protecting the environment
30. Community-Led Cleanup Initiatives
With the help of 100
dedicated volunteers and the
support of the local
community, we have
successfully cleaned up the
area in front of Tamarind Hill.
34. Community-Led Cleanup Initiatives
ZeroPlastic Movement upon the
request of Trade Union of
Beruwala, successfully conducted
a massive awareness session at
Beruwala area on 18th of
November, 2022 in order to
educate their TradeUnion
fellowships, School community and
Surroundings about the
significance of reducing plastic
usage and its negative impacts to
the environment.
Simultaneously to this awareness session
ZeroPlastic Movement conducted a cleanup
programme collaborating with the students
SLTC Research University with the
participation of members in Sri Lanka's
leading IT company and Trade Union of
Beruwala.
