Earth5R is a UN awardee and India’s leading Environmental Organisation dedicated to Advancing Circular Economy, Reducing Plastic Waste, Improving Livelihoods, and promoting UN Sustainable Development Goals. We operate globally by locally implementing the ecosystem of Circular Economy, Citizen-led Actions, and Technology led solutions like AI for Sustainability. We help companies reduce and offset their plastic footprint and emissions while empowering local circular economy projects to achieve UN Sustainable Development Goals. 3. The Founder
After quitting the corporate world,
Saurabh Gupta cycled 50,000
Kilometer in various countries across
Asia, Africa and Europe and the idea
of Earth5R was born.
In 2015 he started Earth5R as a
local community movement at
Mumbai.
Saurabh Gupta received Young
Leaders India-France Awards by
the French President Mr
Emmanuel Macron.
He also received appreciation from
HH The Dalai Lama.
He got the opportunity to present
the project to Canadian Prime
Minister Mr Justin Trudeau who
was very impressed with Earth5R’s
community driven model.

7. Commercial Waste Management Services
We build and manage an ecosystem of waste
recovery, segregation, recycling with various
stakeholders like waste pickers, recyclers,
NGOs and municipality. We started in Mumbai
but now we have partners across India.
Our Circular economy program focuses on
both the commercially recyclable and
non-commercially recyclable Plastics.

develop global change-makers who work on
live projects based on the circular economy

18. WORKING WITH GLOBAL LEADERS
In Nov 2018 Earth5R Sustainability Project “Home Equals Planet” got
selected for the Paris Peace Forum.
At the Paris Peace Forum Earth5R Leadership team presented the
project to 75 Heads of Nations.
The Forum gave Earth5R access to the strategic leadership of several
countries and opened doors to policy and decision makers across the
world.

Mr. Carlos Alvarado, The President of Costa Rica
wanted to bring the Earth5R’s circular economy program
to Costa Rica as a step to tackle plastic pollution.
In 2019 Earth5R kickstarted community based
sustainability project in Costa Rica.
