As a company with an eight-decade of a track record of producing top-quality sugar, we acknowledge our role towards CSR and spend a significant amount of money in activities concerning the same. We believe in the popular saying that charity is like a sun that brightens every object in which it shines. Keeping this ideology in mind, we are planning to undertake several more projects in the future.

1. Simbhaoli Sugars adopts 5 villages, carries cleanliness drive
On 15th August 2016, the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, our
respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi appealed to the citizens of the
country to initiate a nationwide cleanliness drive. Revering this moral appeal by
the PM, Simbhaoli Sugars decided to adopt 5 villages located in the vicinity of
its factory. Intending to revamp the outlook of those villages and delivering to
our social responsibility, our organization constantly undertook several
activities in these villages. With great zeal and zest, the following activities
were done by our Chilwaria Unit under the banner of SIMBHAOLI INDIA
FOUNDATION:-
1. Village Unnaisa- It is rightly said that Education is the passport to the
future and knowledge can be a priceless asset for tomorrow for those who
prepare for it today. In a bid to give a massive push to increase access to
education, we took an initiative on 2nd October 2016. Educational Kits;
Copy, Pen, Pencils, Books etc., were distributed to 150 children from
Primary School, Chorwabag belonging to the BPL family. The blissful
smile on the Children’s face and overwhelmed response from their
teachers motivated us to take our drive forward in the subsequent years.
2. Village Machhiyahi (Perwa):- Cleanliness is now next to godliness. In
August 2017, we carried a widespread cleanliness drive throughout the
village to eliminate piles of dumped garbage with the help of company
Tractor –Trolley & Labours. The garbage was then disposed at a proper
place.
3. Village Shyampur Nadauna:- The same cleanliness activity was
conducted in this village as well. Besides, in September 2017, our team
also distributed 50 blankets to the poor and needy villagers of Chilwaria
by our Chilwaria Unit in the presence of C.O. City Bahraich.
4. Village Barauwa:- We understand our responsibility towards ensuring the
health of the people. Owing to achieve the same, we took an initiative to

2. conduct anti-mosquito fogging during September 2017 after the rainy
season to protect the local citizens against infections.
5. Village Kore Mau:– In this village, our Chilwaria Unit provided 20 Nos.
of painted drums which were put on identified places. The domestic
waste emerging in the village was weekly cleaned and was put in a ditch
dig at a proper place. Our company provided enough trolleys, materials &
labours to carry this activity.
6. On the occasion of Shahidi Diwas of Shri Arjun Dev Singh Ji Shabil
(distribution of Sharbat) was organized at our Factory Main Gate. This
Sharbat was distributed by company employees to all passengers/ persons
from 9 AM to 4 PM.
7. On October 2018, an Eye Camp was organized by Chilwaria Unit in
which eye specialists from “Eye Mitra Hospital Bahraich” examined
approx. 500 employees & nearby villagers completely free of cost.
Besides, subsidized specs and treatment/consultancy was also given.
8. The safety of the employees of Simbhaoli Sugars is our utmost priority.
Realizing the same we organized a National Safety Week at our
Chilwaria unit, under the guidance of Chief Fire Officer Bahraich. He
gave tips and tricks for safety awareness to come in handy during an
emergency. Fire Brigade Officers also performed a mock-drill and
explained the usage of equipment/fire extinguisher to the workers/staffs
of the factory.
