Breakdown of organisation

1. Organisation of Characters Costume and Props
Character
I asked my models to just carry
on with there work as if I wasn’t
there because I wanted to strike
a naturalistic tone and mood
within the photo I didn’t want to
give of a forced rehearsed
unnatural feel to my photos and
personally I believe I have
achieved this because this photo
communicates to an audience
exactly what it says on the tin,
students at work.
Costume
To be in keeping with the
aforementioned naturalistic
theme I decided against
utilizing costume for this
shot and allowed my
models to remain in there
normal school wear
because there normal
school is in fact within itself
‘’costume’.’
Location
Location was key
particularly when taking
the image bellow because I
naturally wished to portray
the school in a favourable
light consequently I chose
to capture the recently
erected house flags
because we instinctively
associate flags flying with
patriotism heroism and
pride thus implying that
Nicholas Chamberlaine is
an institution that one can
be proud to be a part of.
