2. Synopsis
• The photographs show a couple falling in love. However, only the
couple’s legs are shown in all the photos. The genre used for this was
romance. We used the theme of time by showing the progression of
the couple’s relationship.
• This story focuses on the progression of a young couple through both
difficult and happy stages of their relationship.
3. Form
• Considerable on-shoot factors: lighting (or lack thereof), low vs. high
angles, scenery (extra lighting factor)
• Style factors: Time + Romance = great time for sequencing (Nicholas
Nixon). Spot coloring for mood or scene enhancement. Font choice.
• Spot of colour; using colour on the legs and props.
• Saturated blue= overwhelmed with feelings, both happy and sad.
• Warm red= Intimacy and peak time of their relationship.
