Critical Aspects of Teaching in
    Elementary education

Children all learn in their own ways so a teacher has to be creative
and find multiple ways of teaching them. Some children learn from
seeing while others learn just from hearing. Others are hands on
and need to see why something works the way it does. Along with
identifying the specific way a child learns, engaging them and
holding their attention is also crucial.
Engaging students with visuals while teaching them keeps their attention at the same time as keeping their minds
                                                  stimulated.
Allowing students to read out loud helps them in many ways including building their comprehension as well as allowing
them to feel proud and accomplished when they do well.
Games can help students learn in a way that is both appealing and fun.
Songs work in a powerful way to help children memorize things such as their ABCs, numbers, or other important
concepts. Music also helps students retain information for a long period of time and gives them a fun way to recite it.
Involving children in activities such as looking into a microscope, visually shows them that what they are learning is real. It is hard
to imagine a cell until they physically see it for themselves
Projects such as this one allows the students to be hands-on in the classroom and see how these things work in real
                                                        life.
