5. We are excited to share that new geospatial features will
be coming soon to Power Apps. With these new
features, app makers will be able to quickly introduce
location-based capabilities into their experiences and
start to digitize workflows in physical space using tools
they are already familiar with.
These new components are powered by Azure
Maps services, but you don’t need to be a professional
developer to take advantage of these features. You can
add these components with the ease of drag-and-drop
and low-code development.

6. When you are working in the real world,
you need to understand physical spaces.
Now in Power Apps you will be able
to use 3D models or virtual volumetric
representations to find out if a pathway is
large enough; if the product will fit or
how placement might impact line of
sight.
When your workflow requires
understanding dimensions of the physical
world, you will be able to take linear or
volumetric measurements directly
through the Power App. Use the results
to kick off automated processes or store
these back into your data source.

8. In February we passed 300 connectors — including the new SAP
ERP connector. Since then, we’ve added 15 new connectors from
many different partners. Moreover, you can use Azure AD
authentication for Azure SQL Databases — providing significant
security benefits for Power Automate authors and users. This
feature enables each user to connect to a SQL Azure database
with their own credentials.

request actions for the SharePoint connector

10. Key features include:
• Employees can report their work status (e.g., working from home) and
make requests. This helps managers coordinate across their teams and
helps central response teams track status across an organization.
• Admins can use the app to push news, updates, and content specific
to their organization, and can provide emergency contacts specific to
different locations.
• The app includes the ability to add RSS feeds of up-to-date
information from reputable sources such as WHO, CDC, or a local
authority.
