Financial Solutions
We implemented Financial Solutions in ABC Company in 2005. it’s a web-based
software and they were using third party ready made desktop-based software for
accounting. They awarded us the contract to develop a custom solution as per their need
because vendor solution was not customizable and their business was suffering in terms
of recording accounts and finance.
In deployment phase we faced a lot of resistance from end users because they were not
ready to change their working environment from desktop to web application.
Their management and our technical team both given them a brief demonstration on the
benefits of web-based software solution like central database, real-time impact of
transactions and real time reporting. Before that the company was using stand alone
software copies to maintain separate accounting even on department levels. Finally they
accepted the change and started enjoying the new application with fruitful results.
ERP (XYZ group)
This company was using good production systems but they all were stand alone with their
separate databases. The major problem was there communication gap between
departments; the competitors in the industry were getting more accurate in terms of order
fulfillment and commitment. It was a big challenge for us to integrate all software
modules with data significance including Finance, Payroll, Sales, Order Management,
Payables, Receivables, HR.
We faced so many problems in development because business processes were not clearly
defined. We spent a lot of time in BPR (Business Process Re-engineering) for all concern
