Results collected from Questionnaire

We used a random sample method of finding people to participate in answering our
questionnaire from the Harrow weald college campus, handing out the questionnaires
with a pen asking people if they would kindly help us and answer the questionnaire, then
collecting them in when they had finished giving them privacy to answer it by
themselves. We handed out 40 questionnaires in order to gain a fairly good amount of
results in order for our research to be stronger, these are the results we collected.

      Male: 22    Female: 18

   2. Age?
      Under 16: 3     16 – 25: 36   26 – 30: 1   over 30: 0

   3. What is your favourite genre of music?
      Rap/Hip Hop: 12 R&B: 13 Rock: 9            Indie: 4     Pop: 2     Other: 0

   4. What type of music video do you prefer?
      Narrative: 22 Performance: 10 Concept: 8

   5. Do you enjoy songs that you feel relate to your life and experiences?
      Yes: 35 No: 5

   6. Are you more attracted to certain music because of the artist or because of the
      beat and lyrics?
      Artist: 22 Beat and lyrics: 18

   7. Do you believe that the music video is an important part of selling a song?
      Yes: 28 No: 12

   8. Who out of these is your favourite of the Rap/Hip Hop genre?
      Tinie Tempah: 12 50 Cent: 11 Ludacris: 5 Giggs: 6 None: 6
