1. The iPad 5 Launch Predictions
Rumors persist before launch of every Apple new model arrival; they never fade
until its launch. This week circulates a new rumor from ‘Ming Chi Kuo’, a TGI
Security Analyst. Kuo’s predictions are reliable because of past authentications,
may be has some contacts in Apple that gives him updated information of new
launches or it might be Apple Marketing strategy for promoting its products.
This analyst predicts that Apple will launch a slim version in iPad next gen series
with iPad 5 Launch around September this year. Kuo predicted that iPad 5 will be
25% lighter and 15% thinner than iPad 4 Model. This new fifth generation iPad
series model would be somewhere between 7.5-8.5mm thick. It will be enriched
with Samsung A7X chip and a camera. iPad 5 will resemble to iPad mini and
enhance with GF2 touch technology with characteristics of its big bro-iPad 4s.
Kuo considers Microsoft Surface Tablet posing a threat to Apple dominance in
Tablet world with iPad mini unable to keep Apple dominance for a long tenure.
Kuo cited:
"Though the iPad mini is expected to be successful, we think launching the lighter,
thinner 9.7-inch iPad as quickly as possible matters more for Apple strategically,"
iPad 5 thinner look results in reduction of LED backlights which will enhance a
prominent display with efficient LEDs. iPad 5 screens will be supplied by LG and
Sharp this time which will enhance its display features.
2. Kuo assumes that iPad 5 will have less battery cells in molding its image into a
thinner one. We cannot say that Kuo all predictions are true that new iPad
generation will have limited battery life span than iPad 4s.
iPad design did not change rarely in iPad generation series with slight
modifications in new iPad launches. While they are all rumors, you can take them
as granted. However, Kuo has a positive track record in Apple forthcoming launch
predictions.
