Are you looking into training for an online business? Well, there is no shortage of training out
there – so what do you buy, and should you buy any at all?
Training for an online business is like training to be
a heart surgeon – kind of!

I recently purchased some online training for $1000 (its training to get you to $15k per month in
sales) because I have been through the basic, through to some more advanced – to this level
because that’s the stage where I am at in my business.
Why not get free training for an online business?
Free training for an online business is tempting and I have to be honest – some of it is great, but
most of it is poor and / or out of date. If people can afford to give the training away for free then
how are they making money to live – so either its poor training, recycled or there to tempt you to
buy something else.
Some people give away good training to their team members – for example I offer some personal
coaching to some of my team members and I help my clients.
Should I spend $1000 on training for my business?
Probably not – yet! Think of my heart surgeon example. You probably want to be a great online
marketer with a great online business, just like a medical student wants to be a great heart surgeon.
Do you think on the first day of medical collage they let that student lose on a patient? No way.
They start with basic medical knowledge and progress through the stages.

2. It is the same with you – you should start at a basic level and then take action. I often say you
should have a thirst for knowledge but a hunger to take action. Once you learn something – go
and do it!
Then learn some more – and then do some more – learn – do – learn do and so on. I started at $25
and got comfortable, then quickly moved up to some training that costs me $100 per month but
has paid me far more than that several times over. If I had started at the $1000 level I would have
been overwhelmed and confused!
Cheap training for an online business
