2. RESEARCH METHODOLOGY:
• Detailed customer studies are required for determining the size of the market and to understand the influence
of trends of gold loans attitudes etc., the survey method has been adopted for data collections, drafted
questionnaire was prepared pre-tested and finalized.
• Direct interview method or survey research approach has been adopted. Our target populations for this
research from which the data are to be gathered are carefully chosen. Here in our research a population is an
aggregation of elements. Out of two available designs we have chosen the probability sample that is simple
random sampling it is precisely defined system that permits no arbitrary or biased selection.
3. • RESEARCH DESIGN:. A researcher has to design his methodology that is in addition to the knowledge of methods
techniques ; he has to apply the methodology as well. The methodology differs from problems to problems .
According to Claire setting and others -A researcher methodology is the arrangement of conditions for collection and
analysis of data in a that aims to combine to combine relevance purpose with economy in procedure.
• SAMPLE SIZE: 50 Branches
• Data collection tool: Questionnaire
• Tools and techniques: To approach the respondent direct interview techniques has been adopted. The questions were
carefully chosen. Open ended, close ended, multiple choice and scaling techniques were incorporated to elicit
responses from respondents.

• The research plan calls for gathering of primary data and secondary data.
a. Primary Data: These data are gathered for our research purpose. This is first-hand information, for this
purpose a structured type of questionnaire was designed and administered.
b. Secondary Data: Secondary data has been collected from various sources.
• Internal Sources: Company’s Annual report (P&L a/c and Balance Sheet)
• Business Publications: Magazines, Journals,Periodicals,Business Newspapers,Web sites etc.
• Others: Broachers, folders, leaflets, Manuals etc,.
