PRECIOUS METALS:
Gold closed lower during the last session as prices gained support from day
traders. The prices ended the day at Rs 26328 per 10 grams on 6 July 2015 against
Rs 26352 per 10 grams on 3 July 2015. Resistance for Gold is towards Rs 26420
and Rs 26500. Supports in Gold towards Rs 26250 are active. Gold price tested a
high of Rs per 26375 per 10 grams on 6 July 2015 and a low of Rs 26187 per 10
grams on 3 July 2015. Open Interest for June contract was at 7556 on 6 July 2015.
ENERGY
Crude oil was again dragged below Rs 3500 per barrel in the intraday session. The
prices ended at Rs 3384 per barrel on 6 July 2015 against Rs 3520 per barrel on 3
July 2015. Volumes were higher in Crude Oil on Monday at 181416. It was
expected that prices moving below Rs 3500 will bring more losses. On
Monday, Crude Oil tested a high of Rs 3517 and a low of Rs 3374 per barrel. Open
Interest were 19724 on 6 July 2015 against 20936 on 3 July 2015.
BASE METALS
MCX Copper June expiry contract declined for session ending 6 July 2015. Prices
for August expiry moved closer to Rs 350 per kg. Copper ended the day at Rs
357.3 on 6 July 2015 against 370 per kg on 3 July 2015. On Tuesday trading gains
are expected to get resisted at Rs 365 and 370 per kg. Meanwhile support for
Copper is at Rs 354 and 350 per kg. The low for Copper on Monday was at Rs
355.90 per kg, and a high of Rs 368 per kg was noted. Open interest was at 18854
on 6 July 2015.
