Momina Time Management
What is time -Time is a measure of passing away of life.. So in short time is life! -It is a precious resource.. We have only 24 hours in a day -It is irreplaceable… Time Unlike wealth, once lost, cant be gained back
It is something you cant have enough of It is something to be respected.. Not only your own time but also other peoples If not managed well, it is a creator of stress What is Time?
WE ARE LAZY! We don’t focus on what we want We all have lack of self-control Most of the time we leave things unfinished or half done Why do we waste our time?
When other people criticise us or say that we have done something wrong we take it personally We demand more time on social events like parties And we don’t realize the IMPORTANCE & VALUE of time Why do we waste out time?
What I do with my time?(in this winter break) I usually wake up at around 9. Then I don’t get dressed, I don’t clean my room, I don’t eat breakfast. I do go to the bathroom and right after that I go and start studying for my exam. Then around 11 everyone else wakes up and im still studying.
After that around 2 or 3 I take a lunch break. Then I go back to studying. This goes on till when my mom tell us (me and my sisters) to stop watching TV. Then I decide to go on the internet—time wasting Then at 9 I eat dinner. What I do with my time?(in this winter break)
Actually you aren’t managing time YOU ARE ACTUALLY MANAGING 1-YOURSELF 2-OTHERS 3-WORK
How does islam tell us to manage our time? You need to identigy your goals Make a list of the things for you to do. Giving priority to reading quran and namaz Make timetables and STICK TO THEM– few alterations are okay though.
Set realistic goals for yourself-daily, monthly. And then achieve them Don’t forget to add family time on your time table!! And finally ASK FOR ALLAHS HELP! How does islam tell us to manage our time?
A FEW HADITH NOW
Don’t waste your time on foolish things!!
Make use of the time you have now don’t wait for tomorrow
Constantly ask for Allah’s help
Every second of your life you are being judged if you are doing right or wrong
Free time? Or no?
I will wake up at 7. clean myself, get dressed, clean my room, eat breakfast, and then study. When my mom wakes up.. WOOAAHH MOMINA!., Mashallah!!  she wont say anything to me!! Then I can go for a zhur break when the azan calls. Then back to studies What I will be doing on from now on..
Then at 2 or 3 take a lunch break. Pray asr Go outside ate 4 till magrib (CYCLING!!) come home pray and then study till 6 and then watch tv till 7! Eat dinner around 8 then help around the house for a while then go to sleep. At the end of the day I will feel good about my self.. Well hopefully… What I will be doing on from now on..
MAY ALLAH HELP US MANAGE OUT TIME PROPERLY… AMEEN.

Editor's Notes

  1. LACK OF SELF CONTROL- WE CANT STOP OURSELVES FROM GETTING WHAT WE WANT
  2. Last point --So when my mom calls me to do my own work, I get really angry because im studying. And the funny thing is shes only telling me to do things for my own good. I bet you’ve already guessed what she tells me to do. Clean my room, get dressed, eat something and then go back to studying.!!!
  3. First point--At 5 I get fed up and go and start watching TV. This is from where I start wasting my timeLast point -- Then sometimes after that we watch TV as a family till like 1 in the morning!! Time wasting!!!
  4. Asr means time– not the watch time or the clock timeIt means a period of time- like your lifetimeIt means passing timeWhen humans were created till the end of times. At some places in the quran the word ‘wa’ means to swear. So here Allah is swearing on time to show the importance of it.So when Allah has said man is in loss the man begins to wonder WHY??4 things To have faithDo good deedsStop each other from bad deedsTo do sabr
