1. The Advertising Standards Authority is the UK’s
independent regulator of advertising across all
media. They check all advertising so that it isn’t
offensive to anyone at all whether it’s sexist, racist
or ageist. If it has any indecent images on the
advert they will not allow it to be published or
released into the public domain. They also don’t
allow companies to use provocative statements
such as this is ‘the best’ as its false advertising and
cannot be proved.
