•Defence and security are the most closed parts of any
government.
•Corruption in these sectors is a waste of scarce resources and it
also reduces public trust, in the armed forces and security
services and undermines international security.
•It creates a more dangerous, less trustworthy security
enviroment .It reduces the effectiveness of military and forces
and damages public trust in the military.
3. Defense officials who engage in bribery
and inappropriate business practices.
Defense ministry and military official’s
who engage in procurement, profiteering
and self-serving use of budgets and
resources.
Misuse of political and judicial power.
4. Remedies
1. Armed Forces-conduct through diagnosis of corruption
problems.Take anti-corruption efforts and involve civil
society.
2. Defence Companies-collaborate with other defence
companies to raise anti-corruption standards in tendering
them.
3. Civic Society-engage with the defence
establisment,implement public involment in reform and act as
independent reform monitors .
5. Its our duty to undertake one’s
responsibility to “Eradicate
Corruption” not only from defence
and security but also from
Education, Political, Economical, and
various other sector, not for the
benefit for one’s but also for the
benefit of entire society.
