Meditate on the Word, Brigthen your World
1. “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your
mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so
that you may be careful to do according to all that is
written in it. For then you will make your way
prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
2. Ecclesiastes 9:11 GNB
I realized another thing, that in this world fast
runners do not always win the races, and the
brave do not always win the battles. The wise do
not always earn a living, intelligent people do not
always get rich, and capable people do not
always rise to high positions. Bad luck happens
to everyone.
3. Joshua 1:1-5
1 After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, the LORD said to
Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ aide:
2 “Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get
ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to
them—to the Israelites.
3 I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised
Moses.
4 Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the
great river, the Euphrates—all the Hittite country—to the
Mediterranean Sea in the west.
5 No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life.
As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor
forsake you.
4. Joshua 1:6-8
6 Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to
inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.
7 Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my
servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left,
that you may be successful wherever you go.
8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and
night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then
you will be prosperous and successful.
Deuteronomy 34:9 Joshua (son of Nun) was full of the spirit of
wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands upon him; so the people of
Israel obeyed him and followed the commandments the Lord had
given to Moses.
5. “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your
mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so
that you may be careful to do according to all that is
written in it. For then you will make your way
prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
6. To meditate simply means:
- to reflect, ponder, think deeply on the same
thing over and over again,
- visualize it and,
- let the meaning of it sink deep down into
your heart.

18. John 3:18 Those who believe in the Son are not
judged; but those who do not believe have already
been judged, because they have not believed in
God's only Son.

has come into the world, but people love the
darkness rather than the light, because their deeds
are evil
19. John 3:20 For everyone who does wicked things
