2. My Experience in Integrated Expressive Arts
• I learned a lot of valuable information that I can use as a teacher
from taking this class. In this class I had online assignments that
challenged me to learn how to use different technological tools
that can be incorporated into my future classrooms. Learning
about these different tools and how to use them was a valuable
experience for me. Also, during the studio portion of this class I
was introduced to different ways to teach art lessons for early
childhood learners. This was also valuable information for me to
learn that will be useful in my future as a teacher. Overall, this
class taught me that art can be integrated into lessons in several
different ways

3. Summary of Studio Lessons
• In the studio lessons I participated in the same way as an early
childhood learner would. By being put in this position I was able to
gain a lot of perspective on how to organize art lessons
effectively. Also, I learned how to incorporate valuable
information into the teaching of art lessons. Overall, the studio
lessons were a great experience and I learned a lot from them.

• This is a picture of the artwork I
created during studio two. We were
asked to create a picture of our
family in any setting that we
wanted. I really enjoyed this lesson
and it taught me valuable
information. For example, I learned
that giving the students a chance to
be creative and decide elements of
their own artwork like the setting,
makes the assignment more fun for
the students. Also, I learned how to
incorporate valuable information into
art lessons, like explaining the
definition of a secondary color and
giving examples.

6. Summary of Tech Tasks
• In this class I had online assignments known as tech tasks that
required me to create digital media artifacts with tools and
applications that could be integrated into my future classroom. I
learned how to use several different useful tools and it made me
realize how easily art can be integrated into a lesson with
technology. I enjoyed learning how to use these different
technological tools and I know they will be useful in my future as
an educator.

7. Tech Task Example
• This is an example of a digital media
artifact that I created using
storyboardthat.com. Learning how to
use this tool was fun and I realized it
could be used to create digital art
for many different content areas of
education. For example I created a
story board for a health class that is
encouraging students to engage in
physical exercise. This tool was fun
to use and easy to operate. I will
definitely use it as a way to create
digital media artifacts in my future
classroom.

• Overall this course introduced me to a lot of valuable tools and
information that will be useful in my future as an educator. I
learned how to integrate arts into different subjects and just a lot
about art in general. This class was fun and I enjoyed taking it.
