“Hard Times”, Dickens describes brilliantly in what way the Industrial Revolution

theatrical in Coketown, a common Northern English mill-town transformed by the
Industrial uprising. In Hard Times, Dickens portrays women as a commanding
energy over men by adores and cares as a power, and not a weak point. In
addition, Dickens modifies men into lengthened kindhearted and thoughtful
characters.
