Michael Aamoth is the founder and owner of Midwest Musical Imports. He established the business in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1983. specializes in woodwind instruments, and
in addition to its expert sales staff has a
staff of highly skilled repair technicians.
They are members of the National
Association of Professional Band
Instrument Repair Technicians, the
largest non-profit international
education association dedicated to band
instrument repair. Midwest brings all
new and used instruments through its
repair department in order to make sure
they are in proper adjustment and
provides follow-up repair for the life of
the instrument.

Michael Aamoth founded Midwest Musical Imports in 1983 and has grown it
into a successful business that serves customers from all over the world. He is an
importer of oboes, bassoons, flutes, clarinets, and musical accessories. The
business also rents woodwind instruments, and has a skilled staff of repair
technicians that repair woodwinds. He is the President of MSA Music, which
does business as Midwest Musical Imports. MMI will soon be expanding its
facilities to include teaching studios, rehearsal space and recital hall.
