This document discusses a study on climate change adaptation focusing on developing countries, water resources, and land use. The study will examine options and costs of adaptation to droughts, floods, and saltwater intrusion in deltas. It will develop a vulnerability typology of river basins and deltas based on risks from these climate impacts under future climate change and development scenarios. The assessment of adaptation options will address behavioral, technical, and land use measures and consider adaptive capacity factors.
