Tao draws with colored shells.

3. Chapter 4
Kala finds out that Tao has been hunting in
the slough by the black mussels he had
brought.
Tao’s mother’s name is “Vedra.”

4. Chapter 6
Tao drew animal in the cave such as bears,
bison, and mammoth.
Tao and Ram meets Graybeard.

5. chapter 8
When painting images, you must rub out the
image out or you’ll get caught. If you get
caught, you will be dead.
People brought back lots of food, skins to
make clothing, tools and ornaments.

6. chapter 10
The mountains -that-walk are the earth,
massive and shaggy old giants.
Ram chases the mammoth cub to save Tao.

7. Chapter 12
Lime stones are used to make bright colors.
Tao paints the mountains-that-walk in a
reddish-brown color.

8. Chapter 14
Tao jumped behind a big willow tree.
Tao hears a wolf sound and crosses the river to
the Mountain people and finds Ram. Then,
Graybeard is found to be very sick.

9. Chapter 16
Volt thinks Tao had defiled the secret place.
Volt makes Tao fight the Saxon.

10. Chapter 18
Tao becomes the new cave painter.
Follows Graybeard’s paths.
