Apart from that the office decided against bursting crackers. It is our endeavor to save the environment and show that realtors do care for the planet. RE/ MAX International has done a lot of efforts in this direction and the headquarters are housed in a LEED certified building. For the size of the company we have extensively used technology to reduce paperwork and increase our efficiency. Indian GDP growth has slumped to a sub 5% level this quarter. While its not very low compared to the global GDP or GDP growth average in any developed country, developing economies are used to a double digit growth. India used to have a GDP of 7% and upto 12% in recent past. The general belief is that a new government elected with a majority would only be able to turnaround the fortunes of the country. This may not be wrong, but what one should not forget that a this is the best time to invest in real estate. With the elections round the corner the sentiments of market will improve and the prices will come up soon. RE/MAX ADVANTAGE: A journey of 1000 miles starts with a single step...... After 8 years of stay in Canada, I moved back in December 2008 and was trying to get my feet wet again in my home town Ahmedabad. I started working with LG Electronics as a Zonal Manager and since the entrepreneurship blood was running down my nerves, my eyes were looking for a business opportunity that will give me the independence and ambitious life! Dive into RE/MAX: RE/MAX was not a new name to me as my house in Canada was sold by a RE/MAX agent. It took 6 months of brainstorming and evaluating the business opportunity for me to make up my mind to get into real estate industry with RE/MAX- the World’s largest real estate brokerage company. My total work experience was in Telecom and Consumer Durable industry. With no knowledge about real estate, on 21st November 2010 I took the first step of my journey and Inaugurated RE/MAX ADVANTAGE. With all high spirit, leadership qualities and zest to drive miles in this industry I started putting lot of hard work and believe me - focus and patience were the keys.

RE/MAX Mumbai –Gujarat – Maharashtra Journey with RE/MAX from 2010 to 2013: RE/MAX ADVANTAGE started the business in November 2010 in 300 sqft office space and we built the team of 10 associates by end of the first year. We were recognized as the Best Broker Office for highest net agent gain in the region for the second quarter of inception and as the National Broker office for the third quarter. This boosted my confidence and I accelerated myself into recruitment, training and expanding our office-space with an additional 650 sqft space in February 2012 and got the team strength to almost 20 associates. Having seen the thick and thin of real estate, we transacted in innumerable properties in all verticals be it commercial, residential or land. We as a team have been on the learning curve as always which was the secret mantra of our success. To build even a stronger base, in June 2013 we added a new location of 2000 sqft Office space with a better set of amenities for the Broker Associates and to service the clients with magnificence. Putting the pieces of puzzle together: Right early in this journey I had figured out nothing comes easy in business. Over these 3 years, I have done my best in all the following verticals knowing each one was a part of the puzzle to see the full picture in place. All that the business demanded right from myself being trained at the RE/MAX Regional office and RE/MAX Headquarters, attending national and international conventions, setting up office operations, expanding the team of Business Associates, training them with the basics of Real Estate, Transacting in properties, providing best services to clients, administrative support, builder tie-ups, lead generation, marketing in various streams, team building activities to maintaining the profitability was all done under the roof of RE/MAX ADVANTAGE to make it what it is today. Achievements: RE/MAX ADVANTAGE has been awarded as the National No.1 Broker Office across the entire network of RE/MAX India consequently in years 2011 and 2012. More to this, RE/MAX ADVANTAGE marked into the history of the RE/MAX Network by expanding its horizons and opening one more Broker Office in Ahmedabad - RE/MAX ADVANTAGE Plus. RE/MAX ADVANTAGE has also been awarded as the National Franchise of the Year 2013 across all industries/companies by Franchise India. What started as a modest operations in 300 sq feet office space 3 years back is today a thriving business with 2 locations in 3000 sq feet space and a team of over 40 members. As a team we have transacted in over 1000 properties. We have a long list of loyal clients and satisfied builders. The achievement I am most proud of is what I have been able to do for my associates. The associates that came from different walks of life and joined hands with me, are now envisioning a very bright future and a promising career ahead. Many of our associates have been recognized and awarded as top performers in the entire RE/MAX India network. Today RE/MAX ADVANTAGE is on auto pilot mode where in the team keeps getting bigger, inquiries keep flowing in, transactions are happening and we keep crossing milestones: a journey that is set to reach heights!
