If such app existed, the society as a
whole will get better, people will get
to meet up with people and befriend
them, and even benefit from each
other! I also think it would be
awesome if the app contained
categories, such as school books,
university books, informative books,

• Buying school books is a heavy load on Families with many kids.
• School Books must be bought every year.
• Lots of books get thrown away each year.
9. Our idea
• YES Textbooks are overpriced but it doesn’t have to
be that way.
• Our idea is to build an app that gives people the
option to get used books for a price that is
affordable to everyone including people with
difficult financial situations.
• The app enables people to give their used school
books to someone else who need them instead of
throwing them away or leaving them lying unused.

• Messages: In the future, we
plan on adding the option to
send messages between the
seller of a certain book and its
buyer to make it easier for
them to communicate.
• News: We also plan on adding
a news page in which the user
can check the newest books
added.
• Furthermore, we want to offer
the users the option to ask for a
book that isn’t available at the
moment.

• We also plan on using
Google Maps for the
following purpose:
When a user searches for a
book, we can calculate the
minimum number of KM
between him and the seller.
Therefore, we can reduce
the shipping costs. Using this
idea, buying books can
even be more affordable.

• One of the profitable incomes in the future would
be opening a library in which sellers can offer their
used books.
• We can also sell school supplies to make it easier for
people who are already in the library to buy the
books that are offered thus saving their time .
