Summary

        Plants have several ways of moving
materials throughout itself. First of all, Vascular
plants have a transport system made up roots,
stems, and leaves. Secondly, roots absorb water and
minerals into the plant. Finally, the stems contain
xylem and phloem to move material around. The
xylem carries water and materials. The phloem
moves food from the leaves to the rest of the plant.
Water and materials move through plants in
different ways.
