The EHR stores the same data that you would file in a paper chart. The EHR includes the

Like I mentioned earlier, I did not observe a single act of poor management. There are slightly
different techniques displayed within the department and that's okay. Out of the 6 management
styles listed to use from the chart provided to me via D2L, I would say I noted at least 3 of them
which were authorities, affiliative, and participative. I saw authoritative traces among many of the
managers in the department. These managers are firm but fair meaning that they mean what they say
and know what they do. They give amazing feedback and clear direction establishing tasks. The next
management styles I have seen out of every manager here at the HIM department is to be affiliative.
This means that they understand that the employees are still people and that they need to be
understanding to their needs and concerns. The managers really make themselves available to each
and every one of the employees. Also, it is very important as a manager to try to persuade every
team player to get involved and voice their opinion and concerns. The participative trait is not hard
to find here at the HIM department of LMC. The managers possess traits such as leadership,
compassion, honesty, loyalty, and fairness and I am sure that is how they have such great retention
of employees
