Integrating Technology
For my lesson I decided to
 integrate technology by using
 the flex cam to show a poem on
 the projector.

 After displaying this
poem about leprechauns
on the screen, we read
the poem together as a
class. This choral reading
was fun and non-
threatening to the
students.
What Went Well
Students were engaged.
Students were able to participate by
 using the flex cam.
All the students were able to see the
 screen and the poem being projected.
What I Would do Differently
Allow the students more time to come
 up and point to their favorite parts of
 the poem.
Have different students come up and
 point to the words as we read them as a
 class.
Zoom in on words we are discussing.
Why use Technology?
 It was important for me to use technology for this
  lesson because I needed a way for all the students to
  see the poem.
 Before reading the poem, I was able to point out words
  that I didn’t think they would know by using the flex
  cam and projecting the poem and the word I was
  pointing to on the screen.
 This also allowed students to come up and point to
  their favorite parts of the poem.
 This caught the student’s attention because it was
  something different and out of the ordinary.

St Patrick’S Day Technology
