Use to Complete Activity Sheet Number 1. Definition is the basis for the existence of the conditions of special education and the accommodations used for each individual student.
There are many alternative evaluative procedures depending on the strengths and weaknesses of each student. These are just a few standard options. Our focus will be on two often overlooked procedures.
Using Activity Sheet two, have participants modify the sample test. The options you select will depend on the student’s current comprehension abilities. Sometimes it may be appropriate to select an outlandish response and the correct response to gauge reading ability level and comprehension of directions.
Offering choice in activities does not have to be just for student’s receiving accommodations for a deficit, but rather a way to let students express themselves in a manner more conducive to their learning style and talents. It will help you to gauge some untapped talent or dream
