How to check for unprocessed logistics extraction data
1. How to check for "unprocessed logistics extraction data" (usually needed prior to SPS
applications, especially in ECC)
1. tx SE38 > run report/program RMCEXCHK to check for "unprocessed logistics extraction data":
open data extraction order queues
open V3 updates
contents of setup tables (for logistics extractions; can be seen w/report
RMCEX_SETUP_ENTRIES, and deleted with Developer using tx LBWE) which must be
deleted, prior to application of Support Packages
2. If a Support Package application step encounters CHECK_REQUIREMENTS phase screen/msg
indicating that there are open data extraction queues, pursue all avenues described in the
following SAP Notes:
1081287 - "Data Extraction orders block the upgrade process"
1083709 - "Error when you import Suport Packages"

3. The tx SE38 run of report RMCEXCHK indicators can be cleared up, in collaboration with and/or
knowledge of extractor Developer (BI, PI), via:
tx SMQ1 check all queues in all clients (client = '*', queue name = 'MCEX*' have been
processed. To process start the collective run report for each application in displayed
clients. If you no longer need the data in BW system, deactivate the relevent extraction
queues and DataSource in LO cockpit (tx LBWE) and delete queue entries in tx SMQ1
For V3 Updates, start collective run report RMBWV303, then check update orders in tx
SM13. If incorrect orders in SM13, correct, and then start RMBWV303 report again. If you
no longer require the update orders, you can delete then in tx SM13
For deletion of contents of setup tables (for logistics extraction), execute report
RMCEX_SETUP_ENTRIES, to find out which setup tables (usually 02, 03, 17) still contain
entries. Then work/collaborate with Developer to delete (tx LBWG). Final run of RMCEXCHK
should be all/nearly all green. You can then return to previous step, and apply the Support
Package
