for parents. But this is the time when instead of getting affected in any way, you
stand firm to counter the bitter truth. The moment you give up, half the battle is
lost, which ultimately will have an impact on the child’s development. Being
pessimistic is not a solution against problems in life so never lose confidence
and always have a positive approach towards life. This is something that will
take you long way and above all will help in overall development of your child.

2. It’s been a sad observation that many parents mistake of considering autism as
a disease and think that there’s no way out to this. If you are by any chance
entertaining any such mindset then you’ll have no other option later, except
regretting over what you did in the past.
With advancement in medical science, no matter how severe problems might
appear, there’s a way out to every problem. Autism is not a disease, which
majority tend to think, so it is advised that stop behaving as if the child is not
well or lacks behind in any way in comparison to his counterpart. The only
difference is that these children have their own set of requirements, which in no
way indicates that they are sick. Indeed, these little angels are the most blessed
ones, says a teacher of mentally retarded school. On one hand, if one excels in
art and craft, the other ones is exceptionally good in music. Each and every
child is blessed with a special quality and no two kids are the same. All that they
need is supervision of an expert who can help them enhancing their skills and
look forward to mould their life in conjunction to their area of interest. Though
a child can be tutored at home as well, but the fact cannot be taken overlooked
in any way that there’s always a big time difference in managing things by self
and getting the same work done, resorting to a professional’s help.

3. To all those parents who have been thinking to resort to a professional’s help,
then merely thinking and wasting time over it won’t be helping in any way.
Here’s the time to be proactive and enroll your child at school for mentally
challenged. This is when the child will get to interact with many other children
of similar temperament and this would help him interacting and share his
likes/dislikes and this would help him in sooner recovery, which I’m sure being
a parent, would the priority.
