Can you see any different perception lurking in your mind?
5. 3. Though clean, having a leaky bottom
◦ Not be polluted by filth, yet not remain inside and drain away
◦ Though lacking the last two faults, do not solidify the words and
meanings taken in at the time of hearing but let them fade due
to forgetting them and so forth.
How much can you remember from the last class?
7. ◦ Concentration
◦ Staying one-pointed, attentive,
with your mind focused

Link back to LR: Why do we need to abandon these three faults? We are like a person born of noble lineage, although possessing intelligence, we still don’t know until told what is virtuous and what is not. (ENG LR P.56) While we are studying, listening takes an essential part. But it is not only a benefit to study, it is also a useful technique in daily life. In fact, Buddhism philosophy is about nothing but life.
