This document outlines the units and topics covered in a Principles of Management course. The six units cover: 1) definitions and evolution of management concepts; 2) corporate social responsibility, ethics, and management functions like planning and decision making; 3) organizing concepts like structure, departmentalization, and delegation; 4) staffing functions such as recruitment, training, and performance reviews; 5) motivation theories and techniques; and 6) controlling methods including quality control. Suggested reading materials are also provided.
