Dear Sir,
On behalf of the Institute for Eastern Studies, I am honoured to invite you to take part in the X
Europe-Ukraine Forum, which will be held on 26th
– 28th
January 2017 in Rzeszów, Poland. The
leading theme of this year’s edition is “Opportunities Not To Be Missed”.
The debates of the Europe-Ukraine Forum 2017 will focus on the key issues of modernisation
and development of Ukraine’s economic potential, construction of local self-government,
comprehensive use of its natural resources, potential of regions and possibilities for cooperation
with partners from Poland and other European countries. The question of Ukraine's security in the
context of European and global relations will also be raised.
I would highly appreciate if you accepted to join the panel titled:
Investment Climate. What Policy Should Be Adopted to Support and Encourage Investments?
Investment climate is created by a stable law system, low corruption rate, high macroeconomic
development rate and the redirection of central and local administration towards internal investors
or foreign direct investments, among other things. Are the existing standards and law, investment
processes regulation tools and state policy able to improve the investment climate and, at the same
time, secure the increase of short- and long-term investments?
Other speakers invited:
Kristian Andersson, CEO, SEB Ukraine, Sweden
Ludovit Cernak, CEO, Sitno Group, Slovakia
Dusan Kulka, Managing Partner, Berman Group, Czech Republic
Dominique Menu, Country Head Ukraine and Kazakhstan, BNP Paribas, France
Gordan Milinic, Director, Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA), Bosnia and
Herzegovina
Like in the previous years, the Forum will be a distinct meeting place for government officials
and regulators, prominent politicians, business leaders and experts from Ukraine, the EU members
and other countries.
I am looking forward to your reply.
Yours sincerely,
Zygmunt Berdychowski
Chairman of the Economic Forum Program Council
