OBJECTIVE: Aside from learning Geometry skills and concepts, students will develop their ability to construct formal,
logical arguments and proofs in geometric settings and problems..

EXPECTATIONS: You are expected to:                                             Required Materials
   Give 100% effort, TRY ALL assignments                                         2 pencils at ALL times (and erasers)
   Seek help when you need it                                                    At least 1 highlighter or colored pencils
   Take notes in class                                                           Enough paper for notes for the whole week
   STUDY (better in a group)                                                     Your agenda with all assignments written
   RESPECT the learning environment

Geometry Syllabus Fall Semester 2011 Wednesday, September 7, 2011 to Friday, February 3, 2012 OBJECTIVE: Aside from learning Geometry skills and concepts, students will develop their ability to construct formal, logical arguments and proofs in geometric settings and problems.. EXPECTATIONS: You are expected to: Required Materials  Give 100% effort, TRY ALL assignments  2 pencils at ALL times (and erasers)  Seek help when you need it  At least 1 highlighter or colored pencils  Take notes in class  Enough paper for notes for the whole week  STUDY (better in a group)  Your agenda with all assignments written  RESPECT the learning environment : SAFee  Ask permission to leave your seat  Hands to yourself  HONEST, POSITIVE talk  Use bathroom in between classes CONSEQUENCES Verbal Warning RESPONSIBLee  o Mr. Pacheco will let you know when you are breaking the rules, and ask you to please stop.  Have materials at ALL TIMES  Lose daily Participation points  PAY ATTENTION in class o If you continue to break the rules, daily participation points will be deducted from your grade.  Binder ORGANIZED at ALL TIMES  Call Home  Participate appropriately o If you still continue to break the rules, your parents will be called  Complete ALL assignments to be notified of your behavior.  ASK FOR HELP  Parent Meeting  KNOW daily goals and assignments o If you do not stop breaking the rules, it is time to sit down with you and your parents to figure out what the problem is and discuss solutions to the problem.
