Agatha Christie was a famous English writer known as the "Queen of Mystery". She was born in 1890 in Torquay, England and died in 1976 at age 85 in Oxfordshire, England. Her most famous works featured the eccentric Belgian detective Hercule Poirot who used his "little grey cells" to solve puzzling crimes, and the elderly Miss Marple who also solved crimes.
