  2. 2. Biography !!<br />Dame Agatha Christie DBE .(15 September 1890 – 12 January 1976), was an English crime writer of novels, short stories and plays. She also wrote romances under the name Mary Westmacott, but is best remembered for her 80 detective novels and her successful West End theatre plays. Her works, particularly those featuring detectives Hercule Poirot and Miss Jane Marple, have given her the title the 'Queen of Crime' and made her one of the most important and innovative writers in the development of the genre.<br />Agatha Christie<br />
  3. 3. More things on his life:<br />His first marriage, not happy at all, was in 1914 with the colonel Archibald Christie, aviator of the Royal Flying Corps. They had a daughter, Rosalind (1919-2004). She was divorced in 1928.<br />During the First World war there was employed at a hospital and at the clinic of the same one, which had certain influence in his work: many of the murders that she reports are carried out by poisons<br />
