4. Mise-en-scene.
 Mise-en-scene used in an Romantic Thriller
movie is that different types of effects and lights
are verynecessary to achievethe feeling and to
give a touchof reality. Music plays a vital role.
Soft tender music would show the loveand the
sensitivity among the relationship. Themovie
Ishaqzaade shows both the romantic as well as
the thrill parts. Thefemale character Parineeti
falls in love with Arjunwho ends up cheating her
inthe beginning. Thefamous song ishaqzaade
itself is a romantic song showing the loveof two
characters.
Inthe movie the couple meet in quiet and
isolated places and same wayin mymovie
‘NeverAgain’ the couple meets at beach.

 There aretypical propsused in a romantic genre. E.g flowersor giftswhichthe
charactersgive toeachother. Flowers and giftsreflectthe romance ina

uponthestoryofthefilm. Butmostlyin romanticfilms the male characterwill havesmartyetacasual
dresssensewherelse thefemalewill wearlong dressesandsmartclothing toenhanceandandbethe
centre ofattraction.Inthemovie Ishaqzaadewesee thatthecharacterof Arjunis shownasa
wild,uneducatedandnonserious boywherelsethe heroineParineetiis shownasaneducatedserious,
yeta girl whoenjoys her lifetofullest.However therecostumesin themovie give anoverall lookabout
the twodifferentpersonalitiesshownin themovie.

9. Editing Techniques.
 A lot of editingtechniques are used in Romantic Thriller films .
Romantic thriller films use different types of editying.Forromantic
scenes fast cuts are used in pace withnon-digeticmusic in the
background.Thiswaythe emotions and the atmosphere of the films
is portrayed. Fades are used in different scenes.Shot reverse shots
are used in different romantic openingsto show the characters
lookingandspeakingwith each other.

10.  Inthriller films editing techniques such as Dollyzoom is used by
film makers to represent the mode of realization.Longshot and
extreme longshots are alsoused . Fast cuttingtechniques are used
to showthe changingperspective of the viewer.
 Inmy movieNeverAgainIaddedromanticquotes intheopening
as it wasdone inthe movie Ishaqzaade inorder to seek the
attention of the audience.

11. Title.
 The title of the film is ‘Never Again’ and the reason why I kept this as a
title because it would make the audience think about the movie before
they even start to watch the opening. ‘Never Again’ basicly describes a
phrase which holds the people from not to trust each other deeply in
love. Just like the movie Ishaqzaade the title itself shows the love of two
people who fell in love with each other but unfortunately there love was
not accepted by there families,religion and society.

12. Challenges.
 Inmy movie Ihave challengedthe stereotype because normally we
see that in a romantic thriller the girl is very kindand serious in
relationship buthere inmy film the boyis serious and kind
wherelse the girl is not. Andeventually in theend we see that the
girlkills the boy.
