All Things are Interconnected.pptx
1. All Things are Interconnected
• Nature maintains a cycle of important nutrients
and energy to keep organisms alive.
• An ecosystem is a dynamic assembly of biotic and
abiotic components interrelated to one another
through the energy that moves across trophic
levels
2. The energy first enters an ecosystem from the outside
(the sun and flows through it in a noncyclic manner.
This means that energy has to be constantly supplied
to an ecosystem.
We are connected to each other and all other life
forms. We depend on the same atmosphere for our
air, the same sun for our heat, the same water to
quench our thirst, the same planet for our home.

What are the ways by which organisms affect
nutrient and energy cycles?
