3. Use of Music
We used non-diegetic music which sounded mysterious
and engaged our audience into our final opening.
The sound of the breathing at the start showed the
audience that our character may be different.
Our soundtrack was found on Youtube which we thought
was a good idea because it gives us a insight of what may
happen within the thriller. The increase of the volume
builds tension and that is what our audience were most
interested in watching.
The slow pace of the music creates an creepy atmosphere
which involves the audience and keep them satisfied.
4. Characters
Our characters matched the conventions of a thriller
because of their clothing.
Both our main characters were dressed in dark
clothing to show the audience what kind of
personality they have.
The audience can see different sides of our female
protagonist with the different colours of clothing and
the facial expressions on her face.
The use of camera fits the conventions of thriller too.
